Your Own Home - Shared ownership in Hounslow
Hounslow borough is the gateway to London with excellent transport links, exceptional public services, beautiful parks and green spaces, flourishing schools, first-class leisure and cultural facilities, and developing town centres.
Hounslow Council recognises that many people living in the borough want to own their home. This is acknowledged in the Hounslow Plan, the Council’s four-year vision of development and improvement, and the borough has set specific targets for improving home ownership in the borough.
The Council cannot achieve this alone, and only through partnership initiatives with developers, housing associations and registered social landlords can we meet these aims.
